Lilah's 1st Birthday!

Katie and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating Lilah's very first birthday! Yay Lilah! The party was so great, Lilah's parents went all out. The theme of the party was bugs, lady bugs to be exact. It was soooo adorable. And how fantastic are these cupcakes that Lilah's mom hand decorated??





To celebrate her first birthday, all of Lilah's friends and family partied it up at Gymboree which was such a great idea because everyone, even the adults, had an absolute blast!







The kids just had this crazy boundless energy, it was amazing just watching them bounce around on all the equipment and play with the toys. I was exhausted just watching them!

How cool is the parachute?? Don't you remember playing under it in gym class when you were little. Man, I LOVED the parachute!







At one point all the kids got outfitted with bug dilly-boppers (that's what we call them in my house). I sooo wanted a pair.



Lilah got to sport a special lady bug pair :-)





Even the adults got in on the bug action.



And then it was time to sing!



Lilah got her first taste of cake and she LOVED it!



I absolutely love this shot that Katie took. Mmmm, pizza....so delicious.



Lilah also spied herself some pizza.



As everything began to wind down, Lilah tired of her bug dilly-boppers and the sleepies started to set in. I think that's definitely a good sign that she partied her little heart out for her first birthday :-)

Newborn Baby Josie!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours with newborn, Josie. She was only about a week old and I don't think I've ever seen such a mellow, sweet baby. These are a few of my favorites from the day.

Oh BABY, it's best BABY!

Lucy is the best baby in the whole wide world. I can say that with authority because she is my only niece and God daughter, and future flower girl in my and Mikey's wedding next summer (yay!). The first baby in the family gets so spoiled, am I right? Us poor middle children, so neglected. But I digress. Lucy is adorable. There is no question about it. And I love her and I just want to bite her chubby legs. But don't worry, I won't. I will settle for lots of cuddles and kisses instead!





Lucy loves books. Mostly because apparently they are delicious to munch on. But also because of all the cool pictures. Have I mentioned that I love this baby?







My plan as Lucy's favorite Aunt Soo is to spoil. Spoil like mad. (oh and in case any readers out there were wondering, my entire family calls me some variation of "Soo" for some reason. Soo, Sooda, Soo Magoo. We don't know why or how it started, but I just wanted to give the heads up if I or any family members refer to me as Soo on here :-) ).



Hahaha. I love this face she is making. Shock and dismay!!!









I can't help but take a zillion pictures of Lucy whenever she is around, so it was very hard for me to pick just a few. But here is a slideshow of a few more that didn't quite make the cut. Enjoy! :-)
