Amy

I just had the weirdest phone related experience. I had my phone book out and I was dialing in the number of a client. I was calling to check on the status of a contract we'd sent out about a week and a half ago and the phone rings while I'm dialing. Who do you think it was calling me? WHO??? THAT CLIENT! What are the chances? Maybe it's just me who thinks this is weird.

Well, anyway ... on Tuesday I took some photos of Amy. For those who don't know, Amy is my good good friend from high school and this is certainly not the first time she's been my 'subject.' In particular, I recall an occasion several years ago when I forced Amy and her sister to pose for me outside in the dead of summer wearing ridiculous makeup and fake furs (of course fake). I think the neighbors might have thought we were all a little crazy. Not that that would be the first time that neighbors have thought my friends were crazy on my account. My college friends could tell you about some photos at a park that involved an 80s theme and old prom dresses. But at any rate, I think it just goes to show what a trooper Amy is.

Right near her house there is this creek and green grassy area, so we made use of that. I love the way her hair is all wild and back lit in this photo. I could show you some photos where her hair got a little too wild and we were having a bit of a wolf man thing going on with it all in her face, but in these it was being well behaved. She's like Amy of the Jungle with all those branch things in front of her. No?

It was cold and muddy and Amy was a good sport. As a matter of fact I didn't even need to force her to sit on the ground, she did it willingly. She did eventually decide that she would not be changing into her pink, short sleeved pink shirt though. Fair enough. I like this second photo below because ... well because Amy looks a little insane, but also when my Dad saw this picture he said, "to me that is Amy." Not that Amy is insane, she's just very insanely good spirited and happy most of the time. :-) I mean that in the best possible way. Everyone loves Amy.

Hot!

So that was our fun shooting...and then we went to Olive Garden. Yum. Perhaps sometime soon Amy and I will do some fake fur photos again. I think she'd be game.

These are Gorgeous! Great job both of you. My favorite is the first one, it reminds me of one of those commercials for some perfume where it's in slow motion and the girl turns back to the camera and her hair is blowing in the wind. That's the beautiful Amy I know :)
